The Clinical Research Centre informs that EIT Health Business Plan call for 2022 projects is now open. The deadline for submission of ideas is January 13, 2021 via the Plaza portal (registration required).
There are three pillars for three different types of projects: innovation (product-to-market), education and business creation (projects that support entrepreneurship). EIT Health supports projects in six focus areas.
Minimum consortia are two EIT Health members (academic and non-academic institution) from different EIT Health regions. The University of Tartu is a member of EIT Health.
The maximum grant for innovation project is 2,5 million EUR for three years. The maximum grant for education projects is 1,5 million EUR.
The Clinical Research Centre recommends to participate in the following events:
1. The virtual EIT Health Matchmaking event from 17 to 20 November begins the series of Matchmaking Events for the EIT Health Business Plan 2022. Working together with EIT Health Partners, the EIT Health Matchmaking series are key events within the EIT Health calendar. At these strategic Partners’ events, EIT Health supports meaningful community networking and aims to accelerate projects between their partners by giving them space for pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings to establish new and fruitful collaborations. The programmes of these meetings will also feature sessions aimed to deliver key information and updates about the EIT Health Business Plan 2022. Register here
If you have an idea for a proposal, but cannot attend the matchmaking event, you can send a short description of your idea to email@example.com. Please include how you are planning to execute your idea, what competencies you already have and what is missing. We can represent your ideas and network for you.
2. The virtual EIT Health Summit Series will take place from 24 Nov 2020 to 03 Dec 2020. The EIT Health Summit Series will consist of four live sessions on Artificial Intelligence, High-Value Care and New Business Models combined with a range of networking opportunities. In between the live sessions, and on the day after the series, 4 December 2020, there will be networking opportunities. Register here
3. On the 30th of November 2020, there will be an Information Day at the University of Tartu on the new call for 2022 projects. This event is a good opportunity to get an overview of the funding possibilities of the new EIT Health call.
The event will take place at Riia 23b (auditorium 105) and online.
