Estonian Paediatric Research Group (ELAV) and Conect4children Consortium (Collaborative Network for European Clinical Trials for Children, c4c) held a meeting with Baltic countries in Tallinn discussing a topic „Children’s clinical drug research regulation and experience in conducting paediatric clinical trials in the Baltic States“ on March 20th, 2019.

The purpose of the meeting was to find possibilities to start cooperation between Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian paediatricians in the future with the aim of enhancing the clinical trial infrastructure to facilitate the development of new drugs for children.

Prof Mark Turner as a representative and a project leader of c4c shared his knowledge and advice.

Prof Irja Lutsar as a lead of ELAV team represented Estonia. CTM representatives Dr Katrin Kaarna, Riina Janno and Keiti Kriibi also attended the meeting.
