The aim of the course is to introduce a variety of methods available for assessment of rodent behaviour in laboratory conditions with focus on selection of appropriate methods and understanding of possible pitfalls in experimental design and data interpretation. A special emphasis is given to translational potential of preclinical neurobehavioural studies. In addition, demonstration of modern animal facility and laboratories for behavioural phenotyping will be organised.
